3. Sources of information
Some information is provided directly by you, such as when you create an account, complete your profile, publish content, submit a report, or contact GlotTale.
Some information is generated automatically when you use the Service, such as reading progress, interaction records, login records, device data, and logs. This information is used to provide the Service, protect security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the experience.

- performing AI-assisted translation, summarization, language detection, retrieval, or necessary formatting of content;

GlotTale does not sell your personal information as a standalone commodity.
5. Data processing for AI translation
To provide cross-language reading, GlotTale may use AI-assisted translation, summarization, language detection, and related processing for works, chapters, descriptions, comments, reading lists, and other text content.
When such processing is performed, GlotTale transmits the necessary text content and contextual information within the scope required to provide the Service. GlotTale does not intentionally transmit your account password, full login credentials, or unnecessary private information for unrelated purposes.
AI services may be provided by third-party technology service providers. GlotTale requires such providers to process information only as necessary to provide the relevant service and to apply reasonable confidentiality and security measures.
6. Cookies and sessions
GlotTale uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, preserve security status, remember language preferences, support necessary functions, and improve service stability.
